Science Fair
What a fantastic science fair we had this year!
More than 50 students signed up, (shout out to 3rd grade who had 13 participants!) Our young scientists explored an amazing variety of topics—from volcanoes and plasma balls to squid ink sacs and popcorn, from the inner workings of the human heart to the aerodynamics of paper airplanes, and so much more. Most importantly, everyone had a great time learning, experimenting, and sharing their discoveries.
Below are the winners of this year’s science fair by grade level, as well as the 3rd–5th grade students who earned high enough overall scores to qualify for the Regional Science & Engineering Fair in Mankato at Minnesota State University.
