Welcome to Akin Road Elementary School! My name is Tracey Magnuson, and I am honored to serve as your principal. With over 30 years of dedicated experience in education, my true passion lies in supporting and celebrating the growth of every single learner in our school community. I firmly believe that every child possesses unique strengths and interests, and that each of us has our own distinct path to follow. My goal is to cultivate an inspiring, safe, and nurturing environment where students are empowered to explore those interests, discover their potential, and build a strong foundation for lifelong learning.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family, including my husband, twin sons, and wonderful grandson. When I am not at Akin Road, you will often find me on the lake, reading a book, watching sports, or at a bowling tournament somewhere in the state. I am committed to partnering with our families and community to make this school year a success!
