Classroom Character Education Lessons
Classroom Character Education Lessons
One of the best parts of my job is teaching in each classroom every month. It's a great way for me to get to know students and for students to get to know me. During these visits, students are engaged in developmental guidance lessons that focus on the monthly character education topics, as well as bullying prevention/intervention, social skill-building, friendship, career exploration, and handling peer pressure. Parents may also receive a follow-up letter to provide practical tips for extending the guidance lesson at home. Classroom guidance lessons are connected to our Tiger Star Program and the American School Counselor Association National Standards.
